Welcome to Mak Does Car Rentals! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, reservation system, and vehicle rental services (“Services”). By booking, renting, or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old (or the minimum legal age in your state) and hold a valid driver’s license.
Additional age restrictions, fees, or insurance requirements may apply for drivers under 25.
We may require proof of identity, driving record, and a valid credit/debit card.
2. Reservations & Payments
Reservations are subject to vehicle availability. We cannot guarantee a specific make, model, or color.
Payment is due at the time of reservation or vehicle pickup.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as listed on our website.
A security deposit may be required at pickup and will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition.
3. Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before pickup may be refunded (less any applicable fees).
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup may result in a cancellation fee.
No-shows without cancellation will be charged the full rental amount.
4. Vehicle Use & Responsibilities
Vehicles may only be driven by the renter and approved additional drivers listed on the rental agreement.
You must follow all traffic laws and drive responsibly.
Prohibited uses include: Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Off-road use, racing, towing, or commercial transport Smoking inside the vehicle Allowing unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle.
5. Insurance & Liability
Basic insurance coverage may be included or available for purchase. Coverage details will be provided at the time of rental.
Renters are financially responsible for all damage, theft, loss of use, tickets, tolls, and violations during the rental period unless covered by purchased insurance.
6. Vehicle Return
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns may incur additional fees.
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup. Refueling fees may apply.
A cleaning fee may apply for excessive dirt, stains, or odors (including smoke).
7. Termination of Rental
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if you:
Provide false information
Fail to meet eligibility requirements
Misuse the vehicle in violation of these Terms.
8. Website & Online Services
Content on our website is for informational purposes only and may change without notice.
We are not responsible for any errors, delays, or technical issues affecting your online booking.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mak Does Car Rentals is not liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Personal property left in the vehicle
Delays or interruptions outside our control (e.g., traffic, weather, accidents)
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
